Let us remember that our life is transcendent. That the inner work we do, the wisdom we acquire, the progress we make in our spiritual development and healing, is our contribution to our descendants, to humanity.
The ancestral traditions have transmitted the importance of honoring our ancestors, of learning from their teachings and wisdom, of remembering them and thanking them for the legacy they left us.
Today the energies also speak to us about the importance of continuing to transmit this wisdom to future generations, to help preserve the legacy of our grandfathers and grandmothers, that ancestral knowledge that is so valuable not only for each of us as individual beings, but also for humanity. On this day, Kab’lajuj Kame makes us aware of the importance of our path of life, it reminds us that we are the ancestors of the next generation, that the steps we are taking on our path are the legacy we are leaving behind.
The Ch’umil of this day speaks to us of energy, it teaches us that energy is the essence of everything, that we ourselves are energy being expressed and connected to the power of the Universe.
Our happiness depends on us, it is an inner work, for we are the creators and receivers of what is within us.
Let us experience the now with all of our consciousness, and make sure that the present moment is connected to our purpose.
Breathe and listen to the wisdom in your feelings, to the whisper of your being, reconnect with the self and embrace the power within you.
While sitting on a hilltop after a walk of power, I asked Elder Pascual the reason for which we, human beings, are practically blind to the reality that he was revealing to me. How could we awaken and visualize this profound vision of reality, this magical world in which the essence of all things was perceived differently, an energetic world that I could barely glimpse with the senses that remain blocked for most. The wise man answered: If any Ch’umil gives you an openness to what we call unknown is Ajaw Imox, it connects us to the world of inner powers that we rarely allow to flourish, because we are anchored to a vision that has been imposed on us; an order in which our true nature is limited, mainly by our reason, for in the last centuries we gave much space to reasoning and we enclosed our existence in this vision. We forgot that we have other senses that allow us to perceive a world that is closer to the essence of creation. Our purpose now is to develop these senses and therefore find our purpose, for the complete human being is not a utopia, it is a reality that has been withheld from us.
Each one of us has the abiliy to overcome the adversities of life. Whenever we need to do so, we have the power to transform and renew ourselves, to be reborn and grow.
Let us remember that we are together in our journey through existence and there is no reason for us to face the challenges of life on our own. Let us be able to offer our love and support to others, but let us also know how to accept it when it is offered to us.
We all have an innate capacity to heal ourselves: we hold within us, in our hands and in our hearts the power we need.
The energy of No’j holds a profound importance, for it is one of the Ch’umilab’ that allows us to create our reality.
