Yesterday marked the beginning of a new Cholq’ij cycle, and today we continue our journey under the guidance and protection of B’elejeb’ E, the Ch’umil who lights the paths of our Saq’ B’e.

Today, I want to share a teaching I received from a wise grandmother and teacher. She explained that after the Cycle of Creation concludes and we celebrate the shaping of this reality, we enter a forty-day period to cultivate calm and reconnect with our essence, much like a mother does after bringing new life into the world.

At the end of this forty-day journey we are currently walking, we will reach the energy of B’elejeb’ -9- B’atz’, the Ch’umil that manifests the feminine and connects us to the most subtle and spiritual realms. This journey weaves together the energies of Wajxaqib’ B’atz’ and B’elejeb’ B’atz’, creating harmony between the physical, material, and masculine plane and the feminine, subtle, and spiritual plane. Through this, the balance and wholeness essential to existence are brought to life.
Luego de dar inicio ayer a un nuevo ciclo Cholq’ij, hoy retomamos el andar bajo la guía y protección de B’elejeb’ E, el Ch’umil que ilumina los caminos de nuestro Saq’ B’e.

En este día quiero compartirles una enseñanza que recibí de una gran abuela y maestra. Ella me contó que tras finalizar el Ciclo de la Creación y celebrar que se dio forma a esta realidad, iniciamos un período de cuarenta días para cultivar la calma y conectar con nuestro ser, tal como lo hace una madre después dar a luz.

Al finalizar estos cuarenta días, llegaremos a la energía de B’elejeb’ -9- B’atz’, el Ch’umil que manifiesta lo femenino y la conexión con los planos más sutiles y espirituales. Este recorrido conecta las energías de Wajxaqib’ B’atz’ y B’elejeb’ B’atz’ y crea un balance entre el plano físico, material y masculino, y el plano femenino, sutil y espiritual. De esta manera, se teje el equilibrio y la completitud que son esenciales para la existencia.

It is said that B’atz’ is the time that weaves our history, the skein of thread that unravels as the days go by, and today we celebrate that this thread of time begins a new turn. Tz’i’ represents the supreme law and the natural order; it is the righteous path we must follow, the consciousness and respect we must hold for all that exists, including ourselves. Having journeyed through this process of growth and learning, Tz’i’ creates the space for us to become the authorities of our own existence. From this place of love, intuition, spirituality, and power that we have reconnected with, we can embody the essence of Tz’i’—autonomous and upright in our actions, empathetic counselors, and guides, respectful to those who seek our help.

Since today marks the last day of the creation cycle, let us take a moment to meditate, reflect on our journey, harmonize with our being and the choices we have made, and chart the course we wish to follow, the destiny we seek to fulfill in this new cycle about to begin. Let us open our vision to recognize the divine being we are.
El ciclo de creación comenzó con la energía de Jun B’atz’ y concluye hoy con Wuqub’ Tz’i’. Mañana celebraremos que la formación de esta realidad material se ha completado y recibiremos un nuevo ciclo Cholq’ij, que inicia en Wajxaqib’ B’atz’. Durante este ciclo de veinte días de la creación hemos recibido el poder, conocimiento y aprendizaje que cada Ch’umil nos ha otorgado. Hoy recibimos la sabiduría de Wuqub’ Tz’i’, una energía que es nuestra guía y consejera. Tz’i’ simboliza la ley suprema y el orden natural, es el camino recto que debemos seguir, la conciencia y el respeto que debemos tener por todo lo que existe, por nosotros mismos. Tras haber transitado este proceso de desarrollo y aprendizaje, Tz’i’ abre el espacio para que nos convirtamos en autoridades de nuestra existencia. Desde este plano de amor, intuición, espiritualidad y poder con el que hemos reconectado, podemos ser como Tz’i’, autónomos y rectos, consejeros y guías empáticos y respetuosos con quienes nos necesitan.

Ya que es el último día del ciclo de la creación, tomemos un momento para meditar, para reflexionar sobre nuestro camino, armonizarnos con nuestro ser y nuestras decisiones pasadas, y delinear el camino que queremos seguir, el destino que deseamos alcanzar en este nuevo ciclo que está por comenzar. Today brings the wisdom of Waqib’ Toj, which represents fire as a sacred element. The fire of Toj connects us to our essence; its power burns, regenerates, and purifies, leaving only what is truly important, what is essential. Toj is the fire we light as an act of gratitude. It is said to be the payment, but it is a payment born of thankfulness, free of negative burdens—an act of awareness, celebration, and the joyful expression of the spirit.

Through each of the energies, we have walked a path that has allowed us to release, transform, experience, awaken, and grow. Today is a day to give thanks for all that we have accomplished. Part of our purpose is also to share the seeds of knowledge life has gifted us, as we hold and receive wisdom meant to contribute to this existence. Nature, our great teacher, shows us how trees, fungi, insects, and animals work in harmony, nourishing one another and sharing the unique knowledge each carries. They understand that the seed within them is not only vital for their own growth but also for the flourishing of all.

Let us dedicate this day to nurturing the seed of our being with care. Let us focus our energy on sharing and planting with respect and love in others, so the positive seeds within us can spread and grow stronger.

Today, we can focus our work on opening our new vision, our connection with the energy of Mother Earth. Oxib’ Kame is a powerful teacher who bestows great knowledge upon us. One of its deepest teachings is that in order to discover our essence we must be willing to undergo profound transformations— to die and be reborn. The chain of creation teaches us that the energies of each day not only support our development but also open various paths toward our fulfillment. Change, that rebirth brought by Kame, depends on the work we’ve done with other energies and the level at which we find ourselves. Kame can support us as we continue to free ourselves from the circumstances, emotions, and habits that limit us, or it can even guide us, if we reach higher levels through Kan, toward being reborn into a new understanding of our existence.

Kame is the energy that connects us to our ancestors and higher guides, to other dimensions, and to the ancestral memory that lives within us, even to past existences. Today, we can offer a candle in gratitude for the lives of our ancestors, for all the ancient wisdom that guides us and which was bequeathed to us from those who walked this path before us.
Oxib’ Kame es un maestro poderoso que nos otorga grandes conocimientos. Una de sus enseñanzas más profundas es que para descubrir nuestra esencia debemos estar dispuestos a atravesar profundas transformaciones, a morir y renacer. La cadena de la creación nos enseña que las energías de cada día no solo apoyan nuestro desarrollo, sino que también abren diversos caminos hacia nuestra realización. El cambio, ese renacer que nos trae Kame, depende del trabajo que hemos realizado con las demás energías y del nivel en el que nos encontramos. Kame nos acompaña, desde liberarnos de circunstancias, emociones y hábitos que nos limitan, hasta, si alcanzamos niveles más elevados a través de Kan, renacer hacia una nueva comprensión de nuestra existencia.
