WAQIB’ TOJ ~ Today’s Ch’umil
In this cycle of 20 days in which we receive the cosmic and telluric force of each of the Ch’umilal, today we receive the power of Ajaw 6 Toj.

Ajaw Toj symbolizes the Sacred Fire, which we light to thank for our life, for all it brings. It is the Ceremonial Fire, the offered candle, it is every action through which we give thanks. That is the energy of Toj, who represents gratitude, who is the law of reciprocity. It is offering to the Earth, being in balance with existence, living in awareness, and walking life in a sacred way. All these are acts of gratefulness. Toj is also the payment, the law of action and reaction, the purifier of our existence, the fire that transforms. Everything in life comes from our actions, these are the ones that allow us to evolve, the ones that have brought us to the moment in which we find ourselves. Toj reminds us that we must be aware that we are responsible for creating our reality. It is our decisions, thoughts, and actions that determine our experiences. This Ch’umil is the one that connects us to be able to understand the messages and signals of the Sacred Fire. Let’s remember that through it, the knowledge of the wise grandmothers and grandfathers is revealed. Today we can light a Ceremonial Fire or a candle to thank the energy of Ajaw 6 Toj, this is a special day to connect with this element. Let’s thank with humility for all that life has gifted us, for all the experiences we have had during this cycle that is about to end, for all the teachers that have guided us, for all the people and experiences that have brought us learning, for all those for whom we have been the teachers. Let’s speak today to the Creator through this Sacred Fire, let’s ask for his blessing, and for a good path, let’s ask that we are open to fully understand the messages and signals that this sacred element brings for us.
En este ciclo de 20 días en el que recibimos la fuerza cósmica y telúrica de cada uno de los Ch’umilal, hoy recibimos el poder de Ajaw 6 Toj.

Ajaw Toj simboliza el Fuego Sagrado, aquel que encendemos para agradecer por la vida, por todo lo que esta nos brinda. Es el Fuego Ceremonial, la vela ofrendada, es cada acción a través de la cual agradecemos. Esa es la energía de Toj, quien es la gratitud, la ley de la reciprocidad. Es el ofrendar a la Tierra, estar en balance con la existencia, es el vivir en conciencia y caminar de forma sagrada por la vida, todos estos son actos de agradecimiento. Toj es también el pagamento, la ley de acción y reacción, es el purificador de nuestra existencia, el fuego que transforma. Todo en esta vida surge de nuestras acciones, estas son las que nos permiten evolucionar, las que nos han traído al momento en el que nos encontramos. Toj nos recuerda que debemos ser conscientes de que nosotros somos los responsables de crear nuestra realidad, son nuestras decisiones, pensamientos y acciones los que determinan nuestras experiencias. Este Ch’umil es quien nos conecta para comprender los mensajes y señales del Fuego Sagrado, recordemos que a través de éste se revela el conocimiento de las abuelas y abuelos sabios. Hoy podemos encender un Fuego Ceremonial o una vela para agradecer la energía 6 Toj, este es un día especial para conectar con este elemento. Agradezcamos con humildad por todo lo que la vida nos ha regalado, por las vivencias que hemos tenido en este ciclo que está por finalizar, por los maestros que nos han guiado, por todas las personas y experiencias que nos han traído aprendizajes, por aquellos para quienes nosotros fuimos los maestros. Hablemos hoy con el Creador a través de ese Fuego Sagrado, pedimos su bendición y buen camino, pidamos poder estar abiertos para comprender los mensajes y señales que este sagrado elemento nos traiga.
