OXLAJUJ AJMAQ ~ Today’s Ch’umil
Sukul Upam Ri Q’ij / the stomach of the sun is in the center. This is the name that grandmothers and grandfathers give to the equinox, for this is a time when the duration of light and darkness is the same; when equilibrium arises and there is no confrontation between the polarities, everything is in the center.
The power held by each day of the sacred energetic account of time arises from the convergence of different energies: the Ch’umil of the day, which today is Oxlajuj -13- Ajmaq, the charger of the year, this year we are being held by Lajuj -10- Kej, the energy of the trecena, this is the last day of the trecena of K’at, and the cosmic and telluric events such as the one manifested with the Sukul Upam Ri Q’ij.
The energetic confluence that this day brings opens spaces to find the balance of our being, to liberate ourselves, especially through forgiveness, inner search, and our relationship with nature. Ese es el nombre que las abuelas y abuelos dan al equinoccio, pues es un momento en el que la duración de la luz y la oscuridad es la misma; en el que surge el equilibrio y no existe confrontación entre las polaridades, todo está en el centro.
La fuerza que tiene cada día en la sagrada cuenta energética del tiempo surge de la convergencia de distintas energías: el Ch’umil del día, hoy Oxlajuj -13- Ajmaq, el cargador del año, este año estamos siendo sostenidos por Lajuj -10- Kej, la energía de la trecena, este es el último día de la trecena de K’at y los eventos cósmicos y telúricos como el que se manifiesta con el Sukul Upam Ri Q’ij.
La confluencia energética que trae este día abre espacios para encontrar el balance de nuestro ser, para liberarnos, especialmente por medio del perdón, de la búsqueda interior y de la conexión con la naturaleza. Este es un momento de meditación, de conectar con nuestro origen, con la sabiduría de nuestros ancestros, un momento que nos llama a estar unión y armonía con el cosmos y la tierra, con nuestra naturaleza interior y exterior.
Este día nos recuerda que como seres individuales y como humanidad aún tenemos mucho por sanar, mucho equilibrio por abrazar. Que el sol nos enseñe a brillar desde nuestra propia luz, con propósito, con vitalidad, con confianza. Que la luna nos permita escucharnos, conectar con nuestro tiempos, reflexionando en nuestras experiencias, conectando con nuestra guía interior. Que encontremos el equilibrio y la armonía como lo hacen hoy el sol y la luna, el día y la noche.
