JU’LAJUJ E ~ Today’s Ch’umil
Each beginning of a new cycle brings us the opportunity to reinvent ourselves and overcome the trials brought by the previous period. That possibility arises today as we celebrate the beginning of a new cycle in the Haab’ Calendar, doing so after we have taken a sacred time of introspection, purification, and reflection that prepared us for this rebirth.
This first day of the Haab’ also indicates which will be the new carrier of the year. The carrier is the Ch’umil that rules over this day and which will hold or carry the time, providing strength to the 365 days to come. The energy of the carrier influences the energy of each day of the Cholq’ij, and on a personal level it strengthens us, protects us, and speaks to us of the year to come.
The carrier that will rule this year is Julajuj -11- E, the energy that guides us in our journey through the path of life and that opens roads of knowledge and discovery. E symbolizes the Sacred paths of the Cosmos and Mother Earth, it is the path of the expansion of our being. The number Julajuj represents the learning we have obtained from our experiences, its power invites us to be conscious of our actions. Let us light a candle today to honor this energy which will guide us in the new cycle, let us ask for clarity in our purpose and that during this Haab’ year the perfect roads will continue to open for our growth and fulfillment.

Cada comienzo de un nuevo ciclo nos trae la oportunidad de reinventarnos y vencer las pruebas que trajo el período anterior. Esa posibilidad surge hoy que celebramos el inicio de un nuevo ciclo en el Calendario Haab’, luego de haber tomado un tiempo sagrado de introspección, purificación y reflexión que nos preparó para este renacer.
Este primer día del Haab’ también nos indica cuál será el nuevo cargador del año. El cargador es ese Ch’umil que rige hoy y que sostendrá o cargará el tiempo, dando fuerza al los 365 días por venir. La energía del cargador influye sobre la energía de cada día del Cholq’ij y a nivel personal nos fortalece, nos protege y nos habla del año por venir.
El cargador que regirá este año es Julajuj -11- E, la energía que nos guía en nuestro transitar por el camino de la vida y que abre senderos de conocimiento y descubrimiento. E simboliza los caminos Sagrados del Cosmos y de la Madre Tierra, es el camino de la expansión de nuestro ser. El numero Julajuj representa el aprendizaje que hemos obtenido de nuestras experiencias, su poder nos invita a ser conscientes en nuestro actuar. Encendamos hoy una vela para honrar a esta energía que nos guiará en el nuevo ciclo, pidamos tener claridad en nuestro propósito y que durante este año Haab’ se continúen abriendo los senderos perfectos para nuestro crecimiento y realización.
