JOB’ KAME ~ Today’s Ch’umil
The ancestors are the spirits that guide and protect our path, that grant us wisdom. If we pay attention we can feel their presence, the powerful spiritual connection we have with them. On this day of the ancestors let us take a moment to connect with them, they are the link between the past and the future; the wisdom and experience of the past that they represent is part of our being, it is what allows us to create in this moment and leave a legacy for the future. Let us raise a prayer for our ancestral grandfathers and grandmothers. Today the wind of the trecena not only brings with it their messages and wisdom, but also lifts our words so that they can hear us.
Ajaw Kame symbolizes death, but its energy does not only speak to us of physical death, it is also the closing and opening of the cycles of life, it is the change and the opening to new experiences and opportunities, it is rebirth. Kame teaches us the importance of appreciating every moment of life, every step we take in our evolutionary process, every turn we make in the spiral of space-time. This Ch’umil is the one that guards our existence in this dimension, its power protects us from the moment we are born until we fulfill our purpose in this plane. Its energy also brings the power of the ancestors, it teaches us the importance of remembering and honoring those who have walked the path before us, for Kame connects us to our spiritual teachers, to the wise grandmothers and grandfathers who have transcended so that they can pass on their advice, protection, and guidance. Number 5 brings the energy of action, its power elevates us and allows us to attract everything we need for life.
Los ancestros son los espíritus que guían y protegen nuestro camino, que nos otorgan sabiduría. Si prestamos atención podremos sentir su presencia, la poderosa conexión espiritual que tenemos con ellos. En este día de los ancestros tomemos un momento para conectar con ellos, ellos son el vínculo entre el pasado y el futuro; la sabiduría y experiencia del pasado que ellos representan forma parte de nuestro ser, es la que nos permite crear este momento y dejar un legado para el futuro. Elevemos una oración para nuestros abuelos y abuelas ancestrales. Hoy el viento de la trecena no solo trae consigo sus mensajes y sabiduría, sino que eleva nuestras palabras para que ellos puedan escucharnos.
Ajaw Kame simboliza la muerte, pero su energía no nos habla solamente de la muerte física, es también el cerrar y abrir de los ciclos de la vida, es el cambio y la apertura a nuevas experiencias y oportunidades, es el renacer. Kame nos enseña la importancia de apreciar cada momento de la vida, cada paso que avanzamos en nuestro proceso evolutivo, cada vuelta que recorremos en la espiral del espacio-tiempo. Este Ch’umil es quien resguarda nuestra existencia en esta dimensión, su poder nos protege desde el momento en que nacemos hasta que cumplimos nuestro propósito en este plano. Su energía trae también el poder de los ancestros, nos enseña la importancia de recordar y honrar a aquellos que han transitado el camino antes que nosotros, es Kame quien nos conecta a nuestros maestros espirituales, a las abuelas y abuelos sabios que ya han trascendido para que ellos puedan transmitirnos su consejo, protección y guía. El número 5 trae la energía de la acción, su poder nos eleva y nos permite atraer todo aquello que necesitamos para la vida.
