KEB’ TOJ ~ Today’s Ch’umil

Toj is the power of the Sacred Fire, it is the flame that burns to purify our being, to illuminate all darkness and transmute every difficulty. It is the element that holds the teachings of the grandfathers and grandmothers, that transmits to us the ancestral wisdom and, if we know how to listen and observe, brings the messages and signals that guide us in the path. The number Keb’ -2- symbolizes duality, it is the balance that arises from it, it is complementarity.

This day speaks to us of seeking for our harmony, of balancing our polarities. Remember that we are transiting the trecena of Q’anil, the Ch’umil that impels us to evolve and grow. Let us illuminate our inner fire so that it shines and guides us in our journey to self-discovery, to growth, and to the harmonization of our being. Let us also ignite the flame of Grandfather Fire, let us speak to him, for he knows how to listen and heal, he is our guide on the path, he is the one who transmits to us the ancestral knowledge and awakens the wisdom that lies within us.

Let us not forget that this is a day of gratefulness, let us also take a moment to raise that powerful prayer that is gratitude.

Toj es el poder del Fuego Sagrado, es esa llama que arde para purificar nuestro ser, para iluminar toda oscuridad y transmutar cada dificultad. Es el elemento que guarda las enseñanzas de los abuelos y abuelas, que nos transmite la sabiduría ancestral, que, si sabemos escuchar y observar, trae los mensajes y señales que nos guían en el camino. El número Keb -2- simboliza la dualidad, es el equilibrio que surge de ella, es la complementariedad.

Este día nos habla de armonizarnos, de balancear nuestras polaridades. Recordemos que nos encontramos transitando la trecena de Q’anil, el Ch’umil que nos impulsa a evolucionar y crecer. Iluminemos nuestro fuego interior para que este brille y guíe nuestro camino al autodescubrimiento, al crecimiento, a la armonización de nuestro ser. Encendamos también la llama del Abuelo Fuego, hablemos con él, él sabe escuchar y sanar, él nos guía en el camino, es quien nos transmite los saberes ancestrales y despierta la sabiduría de nuestro interior.

No olvidemos que este es un día de gratitud, tomemos también un momento para elevar esa poderosa oración que es el agradecimiento.
