Share

Nawal TojThe energy of this day speaks of gratitude, it teaches us that through this sacred act we harmonize with the whole, that every time we give thanks we generate a force that creates miracles. Today a new trecena begins that teaches us that our greatest power is to vibrate in the magic of gratefulness, let us then fill ourselves with gratitude for life, for everything that it gifts us. During these 13 days, let us make gratitude a conscious act.

Toj symbolizes the Ceremonial Fire, it is the power of transmuting through the force of this sacred element, of liberating to find the balance of our existence, to reconcile ourselves with our inner self and reach harmony with everything that surrounds us. Its energy is connected to the magic of gratitude, it is the act of offering and giving thanks. It is being grateful for life, for the roads traveled, for the opportunities that arise and for the learning obtained. It is also the Ch’umil of reciprocity, it is the results of what we do and the power we have to create through our actions. The light of Toj ignites our spiritual being, it is the flame that can illuminate even the darkest path, it is the ritual that connects us with the supreme, and the sacred fire that keeps the teachings of grandfathers and grandmothers and transmits through its signs the ancestral knowledge. The number 1 symbolizes the beginning, it is the force that gives us the impulse to start anything we want to do, it is the power of creation.

Thank you so much for this. Today I was feeling so much gratitude for the plants and animals, for Mother Earth, for San Antonio/Yanaguana, for the living Rivers of water that flow through me. The sunlight and the moonlight that rise up in me are becoming one. I understood all this, then felt the urge to check my email for our Ch’umil. It’s truly a beautiful thing
