JOB’ TOJ ~ Today’s Ch’umil
Toj speaks to us today of the power of gratitude, it teaches us that through this sacred act we harmonize ourselves with existence. This Ch’umil represents the Ceremonial Fire, that fire that is an offering and gratitude to life, which is a channel that connects us with the supreme and with nature, a power that purifies our existence and ignites our spiritual being. Today Ajaw Toj converges with number 5, an energy that elevates us to higher states. The power of this number arises from the force of love. The union of these two energies in the trecena (thirteen-day cycle) of Kan, which is the internal fire that activates us and the spiritual catalyst, speaks to us about lighting the Sacred Fire, connecting our internal fire with its flame, and awakening our spiritual being through its light. 5 Toj tells us that through the love we give and the gratitude we feel we honor our path. Let us light the fire today as an offering to give thanks for everything we have, for our existence, for everything we have experienced, and for what is to come. Let us remember that gratitude is an elevated feeling that can transform us, it is a state that contains great healing power, which opens possibilities and makes us see the positive side of things. When we give thanks to life, life always gives us back more reasons to be grateful; and if we are aware, we will realize that there is not a single day that passes without a miracle happening. Let us then observe life filled with gratitude, let us do our offering in gratefulness and with an open heart.
Toj nos habla hoy del poder del agradecimiento, nos enseña que a través de este acto sagrado nos armonizamos con la existencia. Este Ch’umil representa el Fuego Ceremonial, ese fuego que es una ofrenda y un agradecimiento a la vida, que es un canal que nos conecta con lo supremo y la naturaleza, un poder que purifica nuestra existencia y enciende nuestro ser espiritual. Hoy Ajaw Toj converge con el número 5, una energía que nos lleva a estados elevados. El poder de este número surge de la fuerza del amor. La unión de estas dos energías en la trecena de Kan, que es el fuego interno que nos activa y el catalizador espiritual, nos habla de encender el Fuego Sagrado, de conectar nuestro fuego interno con su llama y despertar a través de su luz nuestro ser espiritual. 5 Toj nos dice que por medio del amor que damos y el agradecimiento que sentimos honramos nuestro camino. Encendamos hoy el fuego como una ofrenda para dar gracias por todo lo que tenemos, por nuestra existencia, por todo lo vivido y por lo que está por venir. Recordemos que la gratitud es un sentimiento elevado que puede transformarnos, es un estado que contiene un gran poder curativo, que abre posibilidades y nos hace ver el lado positivo de las cosas. Cuando damos gracias a la vida ella siempre nos regala más motivos para agradecer, y si somos conscientes nos daremos cuenta de que no hay un solo día que transcurra sin que un milagro suceda. Observemos entonces la vida llenos de gratitud y ofrendemos en agradecimiento con un corazón abierto.
