Let us not forget how important our mind is in the creation of our reality.
Our thoughts are a powerful force, and when we hold them in balance, when we recognize them with awareness and they are connected to our creativity, our words, emotions and actions, they can deeply transform our lives.
My father, Elder Carlos Barrios, used to say that our mind is like someone trying to hold on to twenty horses at the same time. As soon as one is brought back, another is already heading in a different direction. That is how thoughts work, one leads to another, and it is hard to keep our focus. But it is right there, in that effort to be aware of them and guide them with clarity, that the space for creation opens.
This day invites us to cultivate a more conscious relationship with our mind. To pause throughout the day and take a moment to observe. Where is our mind? How are we thinking? Are we in balance and clarity or are we being pulled by stress or disconnection?
The trecena reminds us that simply observing ourselves, being aware of what is happening, is one of the ways to connect with our inner wisdom and magic. Returning to our center again and again can be one of our most powerful practices.
Only by discovering and knowing ourselves can we stop believing the stories that limit us.
A real magic emerges when we remember who we are and what we are capable of creating.
Today begins a new thirteen-day cycle guided by the wisdom of I’x, the energy that opens us to magic, creativity, and intuition. I’x allows us to feel what surrounds us and to connect with our inner energy in order to awaken the magic that lives within us. This energy reminds us that magic is a natural ability that becomes active when we are present, when we return to ourselves, when we listen, and when we dare to break structures, because when we fully believe in our gifts, they begin to manifest.
We are beings of the Earth, expanding toward the cosmic.
Our spirit did not choose this moment by mistake. We are here to help open the way for a new level of consciousness.
One of the most valuable gifts in our journey through this existence is time.
What if the way we live is how we give thanks?
Sometimes, the things we cannot understand why they happen are just seeds that will eventually give meaning to everything.
Let us take a moment to pause, to feel the Earth beneath our feet, and to remember how deeply we are connected to her.
