The energy of Toj is expressed through cause and effect, action and reaction; it is the day to repay Mother Earth and the Creator and Maker for what we have done, for what we are, and what we have received. Number 9 is a good energy to ask for forgiveness; to act with compassion. This is a good day to light a red candle to ask the Creator and Maker to help you understand the results your past actions have brought you; to ask that your future actions will be guided by His light and will help you create the destiny you wish to have.
Following the footsteps of her family, Denise started her spiritual path at the age of 15, when she began traveling frequently to the highlands in her home of Guatemala to learn about Maya culture from the elders. She is the author of the book "The Energies of the Day" which is a daily guide to the energies of the Sacred Cholq'ij Calendar.
