9 Kame ~ Today’s Ch’umil
Kame represents death and birth; it symbolizes reincarnation, the spiritual and family lineage, and our invisible guardians. Number 9 reflects the energy of love, wisdom and spirituality. The energy of this day is used to ask for protection both for ourselves and for the community. Light a white candle and ask the Great Father for you well being and the well being of those who need to be protected.
Following the footsteps of her family, Denise started her spiritual path at the age of 15, when she began traveling frequently to the highlands in her home of Guatemala to learn about Maya culture from the elders. She is the author of the book "The Energies of the Day" which is a daily guide to the energies of the Sacred Cholq'ij Calendar.
