8 Toj ~ Today’s Ch’umil
Number 8 brings with it the energies of the material world; Toj is the day in which we must repay Mother Earth, and the Creator and the Maker for all what we may have done, for what we are and what we have received. Light green, blue and light blue candles in direction to the East to thank the Creator and Maker and to ask for prosperity.
Following the footsteps of her family, Denise started her spiritual path at the age of 15, when she began traveling frequently to the highlands in her home of Guatemala to learn about Maya culture from the elders. She is the author of the book "The Energies of the Day" which is a daily guide to the energies of the Sacred Cholq'ij Calendar.
