8 KAME ~ Today’s Ch’umil

Share

Nawal KemeThis day speaks about the healing of our male lineage. Kame is the Ch’umil that connects us to our ancestors, its teachings transmit the importance of honoring our roots, of collecting the wisdom of those who traversed this plane before us, and to heal what is not good for us. This sign teaches us about death and life, about the cycles and stages that we go through throughout our existence. Today the healing power of Ajaw Kame converges with number 8 that manifests the masculine energy, it is the strength and power of our actions. The confluence of these two powers opens a space to honor and heal the male lineage. Let us take a moment during this day to thank our male ancestors for having sown the seed from which we were born. Let us receive the gifts that come from our male lineage and recognize the shortcomings and capacities that were inherited to us and which are our learning tools. Let us acknowledge that our ancestors did the best they could from their level of evolution; from the pains, wounds and insecurities that they were transmuting. Let us understand that we received precisely what we needed for our life experience and that our job is to heal and transform everything that does not benefit us. On this day let us heal our relationship with the male, remembering that healing is a process in which there is always room to expand, to continue growing, going through cycles of death and rebirth. The wisdom contained by 8 Kame reminds us that we are not fractured beings, that it is important to heal in order to integrate the sacred masculine and feminine, understanding that both manifestations are necessary so that we can transform ourselves into the whole being that we are.
