Saq' Be'

Remembering one of our founding members, Carlos Barrios, who recently passed away today, on his Mayan Birthday, we are pleased to share this video (visit Saq’ Be’ website to view):

This day is ruled by Ajaw 1 Tz’ikin, which is the energy that opens for us a space of communication with the supreme energies. This Ch’umil is the one that opens the paths of fortune, that brings into our life the people and situations that encourage and compliment us, that are beneficial to us; this is the sign that favors good relationships and love. Its symbol is the bird, which is the nahual that possesses the magic to transmute energy, that activates the internal powers, and that is our protector when we face difficulties. It brings us luck and opportunities in the moments when we face adversity. Today a Trecena (thirteen day cycle) of great power begins, a Trecena that opens paths for the good fortune to come, that gives power to each prayer we elevate to the Heart of the Sky and the Heart of Mother Earth, and which brings new possibilities to our path, we just need to take action so that these opportunities materialize. The energy of this day is a true gift which allows us to develop, to understand existence and project our cosmic being.

Este día está regido por Ajaw 1 Tz’ikin, que es la energía que nos abre el espacio a la comunicación con lo supremo. Este Ch’umil es quien nos proporciona el camino de la fortuna, quien trae a nuestra vida personas y situaciones que nos impulsan y complementan, que nos son benéficas; es el signo que auspicia las buenas relaciones y el amor. Su símbolo es el Ave, que es el nahual que posee la magia para transmutar la energía, que activa los poderes internos y que es nuestro protector ante las dificultades, que nos trae suerte y oportunidades en los momentos en que nos enfrentamos a la adversidad. Hoy inicia una trecena de mucho poder, una trecena que abre los caminos de la buena fortuna, que da poder a cada oración que elevamos al Corazón del Cielo y al Corazón de la Madre Tierra y que pone a nuestro paso nuevas posibilidades, todo está en que tomemos acción para que estas se materialicen. La energía de este día es un verdadero regalo a desarrollar, para entender la existencia y proyectar nuestro ser cósmico.
