There is nothing more powerful or more spiritual than being ourselves.

This day, B’elejeb’ Toj, an energy deeply connected to the spiritual and to ritual, makes me reflect on the importance of living our lives as if they were our sacred ritual, and I ask myself what would it actually mean to live life that way? Is it dressing in a certain way, using a certain language, taking a plant, meditating, or practicing several techniques? This trecena brings me to think —without taking away from the worth of those tools, because they can be valuable and powerful on the path— that what matters most is connecting with our truth, with everything that happens within us. It is listening to and observing ourselves, getting to know who we are, being conscious of our being.

Living life as a ritual means allowing ourselves to experience it fully, from the most simple to the most profound, from what brings the most joy to what is most painful, and it is from there that these energies remind us that we are all spiritual beings, not because of what we practice or say, but simply because we are.

No hay nada más poderoso y espiritual que ser nosotros mismos.

Este día B’elejeb’ Toj, una energía profundamente conectada a lo espiritual y a lo ritual, me hace pensar en la importancia de vivir nuestra vida como si fuera nuestro ritual sagrado, y me pregunto ¿cómo sería vivir la vida de esa manera? ¿Es vestirnos de cierta forma, usar cierto lenguaje, tomar alguna planta, es meditar o realizar distintas practicas? Esta trecena me lleva a pensar —sin quitarle valor a esas herramientas, porque pueden ser valiosas y poderosas en el camino— que lo más importante es conectar con nuestra verdad, con todo eso que ocurre dentro de nosotros. Es escucharnos, observarnos, conocernos, es ser conscientes de nuestro ser.

Vivir la vida como un ritual es permitirnos experimentarla en su totalidad, desde lo más simple hasta lo más profundo, desde lo más pleno hasta lo más doloroso, y es desde ahí que estas energías nos recuerdan que todos somos seres espirituales, no por lo que practicamos o decimos, sino por el simple hecho de ser.
