May the gifts we carry within not remain dormant. May we have the courage to activate them and use them.
On this day, with the presence of an energy as powerful as Wuqub’ Ajpu, we are invited to trust that inner light that guides our path, to not lose ourselves in the mind that can make us see life through fear, frustration, or doubt, but instead to have the courage to listen to the heart and do what we came here to do.
Wuqub’ Ajpu reminds us that we have the strength to walk any path and to overcome obstacles when we move from the certainty of who we are, when we recognize our gifts and our strength. Let us not stop ourselves from receiving all that we desire simply because we are afraid to walk the path that leads us there.
Today I remember that my father, Tat Carlos Barrios, used to say that the energy of Ajpu carries great qualities such as certainty, confidence, steadiness, and clarity, but that it is our work and our responsibility to reach them, develop them, and apply them in our lives. May this day, this trecena, and each moment lead us to do so.

Hoy que nos acompaña una energía tan poderosa como lo es Wuqub’ Ajpu, se nos invita a confiar en esa luz interna que guía nuestro camino; a no perdernos en la mente que puede hacernos ver la vida desde el miedo, la frustración o la duda, sino a tener el valor de escuchar al corazón y hacer aquello que venimos a hacer.
Wuqub’ Ajpu nos recuerda que tenemos la fortaleza para atravesar cualquier camino y vencer los obstáculos cuando caminamos desde la certeza de quienes somos, cuando reconocemos nuestros dones y fortaleza.
