Are we creating machines to think for us while we stop thinking for ourselves?
We have the gift of an extraordinary brain. Its ability to learn, imagine, create, remember and discover is such that we have even created technologies that seek to replicate its functions. Yet we already carry this incredible gift within us.
On this day of gratitude, may we realize how blessed we are to have this wonderful tool and all its potential. May we give thanks for all the knowledge that resides within us and use our minds to create, imagine, think and grow. Let us not allow new technologies to dull the power of our brains by taking over their functions and allowing our own abilities to fall into disuse.
¿Estamos creando máquinas para pensar por nosotros mientras nosotros dejamos de pensar?
Tenemos el regalo de un cerebro extraordinario. Su capacidad para aprender, imaginar, crear, recordar y descubrir es tal que incluso hemos creado tecnologías que buscan replicar sus funciones. Pero nosotros ya lo tenemos como parte de nuestro ser.
Que este día de gratitud podamos darnos cuenta de lo bendecidos que somos de tener esta maravillosa herramienta y todo su potencial. Que podamos agradecer todo el saber que reside dentro de nosotros y usar nuestro cerebro para crear, imaginar, pensar y desarrollarnos. No permitamos que las nuevas tecnologías adormezcan el poder de nuestro cerebro al reemplazar sus funciones y hacer que nuestras propias capacidades caigan en desuso.
