To love is also to trust in another person’s ability to grow without feeling that we have to do it for them.
We want to solve everything, carry everything and even try to fix other people’s lives, and sometimes we confuse love with taking responsibility for what is not ours to carry. Toj teaches us that our offering does not have to become a burden. The Trecena of Q’anil speaks of each of us as a unique seed, with our own process of growth, and it reminds us that we can accompany, support and share in that growth, but there are things each person needs to do for themselves.
This day invites us to recognize that our greatest contribution is not carrying what is not ours to carry, but taking responsibility for our own seed, doing our own work and growing, because that is our greatest offering toward transforming the world around us.

Queremos resolverlo todo, sostenerlo todo y hasta arreglar la vida de los demás y a veces confundimos el amor con hacernos cargo de lo que no nos corresponde. Toj nos enseña que nuestro pagamento no tiene por qué convertirse en una carga. La Trecena de Q’anil nos habla de que cada uno es una semilla única, con su propio proceso de crecimiento, y nos recuerda que podemos acompañar, sostener y compartir ese crecimiento, pero hay cosas que cada quien necesita hacer por sí mismo.
Este día nos invita a reconocer que nuestra mayor contribución no es cargar con lo que no nos toca, sino hacernos responsables de nuestra propia semilla, trabajar en nosotros y crecer, pues ese es nuestro mayor aporte para transformar el mundo que nos rodea.
