Today we begin a new trecena under the energy of Kame, which represents death. In Western culture, great importance has been given to physical death, to that moment when consciousness or spirit separates from the body. We have even been taught to see it as the possible end of our being. However, in the Mayan vision, the great Elders remind us that death is only a step within our evolutionary process. Kame does not refer solely to physical death, but also to the changes we go through in life, to the closing of cycles and the opening to new experiences and opportunities. It is every process in which we die to old versions of ourselves in order to be reborn into something new.
This Ch’umil brings us closer to our family and spiritual lineage, to those beings who have already transcended and now dwell in other dimensions. Kame opens the space to communicate with them, and if we open ourselves to this connection, we may receive their guidance, protection, and teachings.Kame also connects us with the memory of our previous existences and allows us to access the records of every thought and piece of knowledge that has existed, exists, or will exist. It is an energy that helps us understand why we are in this level of existence and what the meaning of our journey is

En la cultura occidental se le ha dado mucha importancia a la muerte física, a ese momento en que la conciencia o el espíritu se separan del cuerpo. Incluso hemos aprendido a considerarla como el posible final de nuestro ser. Sin embargo, en la visión Maya, las grandes Abuelas y Abuelos nos recuerdan que la muerte es solo un paso dentro de nuestro proceso evolutivo.Kame no se refiere únicamente a la muerte física, sino también a los cambios que atravesamos en la vida, al cierre de ciclos y a la apertura hacia nuevas experiencias y oportunidades; es cada proceso en el que morimos a versiones antiguas para renacer a lo nuevo.
Este Ch’umil nos acerca a nuestro linaje familiar y espiritual, a esos seres que ya han trascendido y que ahora habitan en otras dimensiones. Kame abre el espacio para comunicarnos con ellos y si nos abrimos a esta conexión, podemos recibir su guía, protección y enseñanzas. Kame también nos conecta con la memoria de nuestras existencias anteriores y nos permite acceder a los registros de cada pensamiento y conocimiento que ha existido, existe o existirá. Es una energía que nos permite comprender por qué estamos en este nivel de existencia y cuál es el sentido de nuestro recorrido.
