4 IQ’ ~ Today’s Ch’umil
This day connects us to the power of the wind, that magical element that gives life through breath, which is the instrument of our voice and a force that purifies us and brings us closer to the wisdom of the ancestral grandmothers and grandfathers who nurture our thought and spirit. Ajaw Iq’ is the element that governs ideas and change, it is purity and clarity. This Ch’umil represents the force of life, it is the internal space in our body and in the universe. It is the spirit of the air that today converges with number 4 to nourish our body on each plane and to give life to the word that expresses the essence of our integral being. 4 Iq’ speaks to us about the importance of being aware of the power of our words, of remembering that they materialize and for this reason we must be mindful of what we communicate to others and to ourselves. Let our words come from our heart so that they are a tool that communicates the essence of our being; let our prayers be the vibration of our spirit and become a miracle that materializes the dreams that are born within our inner self. On this day 4 Iq’ also connects us to the winds that blow from the four directions; the wind of the East that feeds the consciousness of being, the wind of the West which brings learning and growth, the wind of the North that gives strength to the power of our thought and connects us to our creativity, and the wind of the South which brings with it the wisdom of nature. Let us breathe each of these winds with awareness, perceiving how they nurture us with each of their qualities.
Este día nos conecta al poder del viento, ese mágico elemento que nos da vida a través del aliento, que es el instrumento de nuestra voz, que es la fuerza que nos purifica y nos acerca a la sabiduría de los abuelos y abuelas ancestrales quienes alimentan nuestro pensamiento y espíritu. Ajaw Iq’ es el elemento que rige las ideas y el cambio, es la pureza y la claridad. Este Ch’umil representa la fuerza de la vida, es el espacio interno en nuestro cuerpo y en el universo, es el espíritu del aire que al converger con el número 4 nos nutre en cada plano y da vida a la palabra que expresa la esencia de nuestro ser integral. 4 Iq’ nos habla de la importancia de ser conscientes del poder de nuestras palabras, de recordar que estas materializan, por esto debemos tomar consciencia de lo que comunicamos a los demás y a nosotros mismos. Hagamos que nuestras palabras salgan del corazón, que sean la herramienta que comunica la esencia de nuestro ser; que nuestras oraciones se conviertan en la vibración de nuestro espíritu y sean como un milagro que materializa los sueños que nacen de nuestro interior. En este día 4 Iq’ también nos conecta a los vientos que soplan de las cuatro direcciones; el viento del oriente que alimenta la conciencia de ser, el del poniente que trae aprendizaje y crecimiento, el del norte que da fuerza al poder de nuestro pensamiento y nos conecta a nuestra creatividad y el del sur que trae consigo la sabiduría de la naturaleza. Respiremos cada uno de estos vientos con consciencia, percibiendo como nos otorgan cada una de sus cualidades.
