Following the footsteps of her family, Denise started her spiritual path at the age of 15, when she began traveling frequently to the highlands in her home of Guatemala to learn about Maya culture from the elders. She is the author of the book "The Energies of the Day" which is a daily guide to the energies of the Sacred Cholq'ij Calendar.

Thank you for the great work U do. I lived in Guatemala for many yrs. Im in Mx. now, there R fewindigenous people here, I have no where to do ritual, as I live in the city, no materials available for the Sacred Fire. People here R not interested in anything spiritual, I really want to return to Guatemala, please pray that if that is to be a part of my path again, I may find my way back.
