According to the Cholq’ij / Sacred Mayan Calendar, today we are ruled by Ch’umil Jun (1) Ajpu. This Ch’umil is very important in the Mayan world, it can be defined as the symbol of the clarity of the sun, of light. It is the energy that marks events, that opens the K’atun cycles (periods of 20 years). The importance of this day on a personal level is that of defining our journey in order to channel our destiny. Jun Ajpu is also one of the twins, who together with Xb’alamke, were the guides and avatars of the present humanity. These mythical twins descended to Xib’alb’a, to the spaces of the underworld, where through their strength they overcame the various tests. Its energy gives us certainty and security, it is the internal light that helps us illuminate our destiny. Its force is a powerful tool that we can use on our path, in our evolution. The power of Jun Ajpu is a guide and example that impels and inspires our own growth. This energy has an influence over the next thirteen days, let us take advantage of all that it awakens and grants us.

Acorde al Cholq’ij / Calendario Sagrado Maya el día de hoy nos rige el Ch’umil Jun (1) Ajpu. Este Ch’umil reviste mucha importancia en el mundo Maya, se puede definir como el símbolo de la claridad del sol, de la luz. Es el puntal que marca los eventos, las aperturas de ciclos de los K’atunes (períodos de 20 años). La importancia de este día en el plano personal está en definir nuestro transitar para encausar nuestro destino. Jun Ajpu es también uno de los gemelos que junto a Xb’alamke fueron guías y avatares del principio de la presente humanidad. Estos míticos gemelos descendieron a Xib’alb’a, a las estancias del inframundo, donde a través de su fortaleza superaron las distintas pruebas. Su energía nos da certeza y seguridad, es la luz interna que nos ayuda a iluminar nuestro destino. Su poder es una herramienta poderosa que podemos utilizar en nuestro camino, en nuestra evolución. La fuerza de Jun Ajpu es una guía y ejemplo que impele e inspira nuestro crecimiento, su fuerza influye sobre los próximos trece días, aprovechemos todo lo que esta energía nos despierta y otorga.
